What Is The Ishayas' Ascension?
The Inheritance of a Child
Take one moment; in innocence, be here now, like a child - fully immerse
yourself in the present - here lies the Kingdom of Heaven. Here, now, lies the
goal of human life; we need not search outside of this instant, we need not
search outside of ourselves! Peace is a simple by-product of presence, of
effortless natural silence. The Truth is simple. The solution to all problems is
overlooked by the busy mind, but the quiet mind, knows no problem. There is no
problem in this exact instant, nor can there ever be. All problems are in the
mind! Where a problem is not conceived of, a problem cannot exist. This present
moment, is the moment in which our wondrous human potential is accessed; peace
is all-pervading here; our True Nature shines forth - thus dawns Freedom (A.K.A.
the Kingdom of Heaven).
It is written that, 'Unless we become as little children, we shall not enter
the Kingdom of Heaven.' So, should we forget about the adult world, retire
into a life eating baby food and rolling around on the floor playing with toys?
Or is there something about a child's innate awareness of what IS - that is the
key to Life? - a Truth that needs no definition, no search outside of this
present instant - that is self-prevalent - thus, not something to be obtained,
but something to be experienced freely - just as a child experiences life
freely! - a Truth within us! a Kingdom of Heaven, Here and Now!
The inheritance of a child is Innocence and Freedom, Love and Awareness, Joy and
Wonder. Is this marvelous state totally lost to us? How can we access the
Infinite Potential and Absolute Peace that is a child's inheritance?
As we grow up and become accustomed to the 'real world' it seems that we
lose the bliss of youth; there is a sense that peace is lost, and we search,
incessantly, accumulating and increasing, but far to often not finding what it
is that we searching for. We search to fill a gap, where once there was peace,
once there was freshness, innocence, freedom, and fullness. Was it a fleeting
moment - a moment of ignorance to the reality we now (ironically) stake our
lives on? Most would agree that the average human being is not living to their
fullest potential, not living in their natural state. So, how do we reclaim our
Natural State - that source of perfect peace and unlimited potential?
We need not search on the outside for what lies within. Truly, our
Natural State isn't lost - it's simply been covered up. The infinite potential
of the present mind becomes filled up - with limiting ideas about reality, about
who we are and about how we relate to our worlds. When we began identifying with
our bodies, our worlds, and our minds, we started moving outward. Knowing only
Divinity, only True Holding, we looked to our new worlds to be perfect - and, in
comparison with our memory of that True Holding, that Love and Divinity, they
weren't. We began to feel that we were less than fully loved and supported,
perhaps less than fully lovable; but this is just what we began believing - it
never has been, nor will it ever be, the Truth of Who We Are. The prospect of
realizing our full human potential is hinted at with the well-known scientific
discovery that we use only about 5% of our minds - only 5% of our potential!
Imagine life where 100% of our brains, 100% of our DNA, 100% of our innate
talents are in use. Imagine life beyond all limits!
From internal mental programming - through unclear
experiencing and limiting belief structures - and the subsequent accumulation of
stress in our nervous systems, most of us have fallen out of touch with our
natural state - an unbroken Awareness of Reality. Reality IS All-Loving! We need
only erase what is not Real; and Who We Truly Are gloriously shines forth. We
need only uncover our own beauteous nature - thus, the most effective method of
realizing our full potential is through sincere focus on the Truth within - the
'Peace that passeth understanding,' 'the Kingdom of Heaven within' - what
is known in many traditions, simply, as 'the True Self.' We needn't any longer
ignore this state, or even dream of it as a far of place. Ascension directly
brings us to this state -to Reality! naturally, swiftly, and gracefully.

Moving the Mind Inward
The Ishayas' Ascension is a Teaching which offers a series of
simple, highly powerful and effective techniques, which pull the mind inward.
Literally, no commentary or concepts are even necessary here - these techniques,
upon their use, speak for themselves.
Why do we want to move the mind inward?
The mind's natural state of peace and harmony is effortlessly
realized when we Ascend. Ascension literally means - to rise beyond. Through
Ascension, we rise beyond all limitations. By naturally moving the mind inward,
all chaotic modes of functioning are surpassed, and the mind arrives at it's
natural state of silence - the hemispheres of the brain go into perfect
coherence - and the body reaches a level of rest deeper than the average rest it
gets from eight hours of sleep. When the body rests, it heals; thus, the stress
lodged in the nervous system naturally dissolves - and Freedom dawns. There is
no need to analyze the stress and limiting internal programs, to be free of
them. We are only bound to them to the extent that they are rooted in the mind
and body. Ascension naturally removes all unnecessary clutter from one's mind
and nervous system. Stress dissolves effortlessly, with the Ishayas' Ascension.
In the Ishayas' Ascension, one touches the Infinite. All
boundaries dissolve in the presence of one's True Nature; as Reality is directly
experienced, all that is not true simply vanishes. Joy and effectiveness in all
areas of life is achieved effortlessly, when we are flowing and evolving with
the upward currents of creation. The techniques taught by the Ishayas at the
First Sphere Weekend, are wrapped around the upward spiraling emotions of
Appreciation, Gratitude, Love and Compassion. Not only are these emotions
powerful, they are natural (Ascension is always natural). It is the mind's
natural tendency to move towards greater peace, happiness and clarity; it is the
body's natural tendency to heal and reclaim its natural state of harmony and
vitality.
Belief is not necessary in order to Ascend. If we wish to experience more of
life - more peace, more effectiveness, more harmony, more joy, more love, more
stillness - we need only follow our hearts; we need only choose to experience
more. Yet belief is not required in order to Ascend. All beliefs are of the
mind. By touching the source of mind - the Ascendant - all limiting mental
programs, all fears, judgments, and false beliefs fall away effortlessly. By
unveiling our natural state, all that is not life supporting simply vanishes.
'The Ascendant' refers to the Stillness within - the Self - Your True Nature! It
has many names, in many traditions - Brahman, God, Krishna, Great Spirit,
Essence, The Presence, The Unmanifest, The Infinite, The Source, The Tao, The
One, in quantum mechanics It is called the Second Implicate; psychologist
Abraham Maslow documented the experience of the Ascendant - he called it "The
Peak Experience"; It is both acknowledged in Religion, and Science, however, our
focus here is on the direct experience of It. The Ishayas hold that a perpetual
awareness of the Ascendant is truly the beginning of human life. This is the
goal of Ascension. Completely Healing the world, through sharing this Teaching
is the goal of the Ishayas. Heaven on Earth, a dream to many, is a living
reality for all those who truly follow their Hearts' bliss.
"Neither shall they say,
Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the
kingdom of God is within
you."
Luke 17:21
In Ascension, we do not force the mind or body at all. The mind enters coherence
naturally, and the body enters its state of deep rest effortlessly. No rigid
postures or mental strain is required in order to Ascend. In the Ishayas'
Ascension, we are moving with the natural flow of the universe - which is always
towards our highest good. In being simple, effortless and innocent, we cannot
fail. The Ishayas' Ascension is very powerful; though, powerful and effective as
it is, it is also effortless and natural. Imagine that! - Self-Realization -
Freedom from stress - experiencing the Kingdom of Heaven - as easy and
effortless as Nature Itself!
"With perfect ease, life transforms to perfection. We need only give it the
chance."

Stress Reduction
How is
stress affecting me?
To effectively reduce stress from the body, it is first
useful to reduce the amount of stress coming into our nervous systems every day.
One may strive for the experience of a 'de-stressed' life, live as a recluse,
move to the country or some other form of withdrawal, but the one thing we never
seem to escape is the self-defeating thoughts/judgments we have about our self
and the world. Stress can be found beneath many different masks. In fact the
most subtle 'mask' is none other than our own ideas and beliefs about our lives.
Positive or negative, these beliefs can and will keep us locked into a limited
experience of life and can cause disharmony within our bodies. The thoughts we
entertain in our minds are sending signals to the rest of our body. Every organ,
every cell has receptor sites for our thoughts. Scientists have discovered that
the brain cells communicate in the language of neuropeptides. The brain cells
produce protein molecules that send chemical messages to every other cell. The
immune system also has receptor sites for these neuropeptides. This means that
if we are thinking self-destructive thoughts and/or we are being self-critical
then our whole body will feel the effects of the choice to entertain such
thoughts.
There is a simple test one can do to demonstrate this fact,
try it your self: look around you in the room, find something to
praise/appreciate………..now find something and criticize it. Did you notice a
difference? One experience is expanding. The other is contractive. The whole
body is receiving the affects of that simple choice. The contractive thoughts
and behavior patterns we entertain in the mind seriously affect physical and
mental health. It could be said that the addiction to certain thoughts are
causing the body needless suffering.
The body cannot differentiate the physical stresses (running
from a burning building, escaping from an attacking bear) from the mental
(feeling overwhelmed, worried, guilty, judgmental, critical or bored etc.), and
spiritual. (reviewing relationships, values or life purpose). The physiological
response - increase in blood pressure, heart and metabolic rate - is the same.
Consequently, these behaviour patterns and the emotions they solicit will
ultimately have an effect on the body.
How can I stop stress affecting my life?
The techniques taught by the Ishayas' are simple statements
of Truth. Used innocently, they naturally draw the mind inward, allowing us to
experience the deeper levels of the mind. They are tools that we can choose for
any time, to gain access to the infinite stillness, silence, peace that lies
beyond the mind's boundaries (What we call the Ascendant). This is not a
difficult thing to achieve. It's like letting our attention move effortlessly
away from the 90,000 plus thoughts we think per day. Then, from the solid
platform of our True Nature we begin to 'watch' the thoughts in the mind.
Witnessing the 'dance' of the mind instead of being swept around within the
dance!
Having a vehicle to ride inward to the stillness is an
invaluable thing to have. This is exactly what each person will gain by learning
the Ascension Attitudes. Using these techniques with our eyes open dramatically
reduces the amount of stress coming into our nervous system every day. The power
of making a new choice in 'stressful' moments is huge. The power of making this
new choice any time is huge! Choosing to naturally move our attention towards
the Ascendant is enormously beneficial. From the Ascendant one can see the
'bigger picture' and therefore let go of any positions being held, or release
the attachment to our beliefs and ideas. This does not mean we become passive
and allow people to take advantage of us. Instead, it means releasing internal
attachments by simply choosing to relax into our True Nature. Stress cannot, and
will not find a way into our bodies if we are consistently choosing in this way.
It is the easiest thing in the world and yet the first step is often the
hardest.
The willingness to change is always required for healing to
occur. Commitment to make a new choice is also required to escape the minds
limitation. It is much like a space rocket; at first progress seems slow, then
gradually it lifts up-and-away at an ever-accelerating pace. Escaping the pull
of gravity takes a certain amount of acceleration. In the same way, to escape
our false beliefs and limitations about our lives and the subsequent stress in
our nervous systems, it takes a certain amount of commitment and practice.
Through practice, the choice soon becomes automatic. Stress then becomes a
non-issue. Something witnessed, rather than identified with. Upon making this
new choice, one immediately rises above and beyond the victim scenario.
How do I release the stress in my body?
This in-fact is happening every night for most people. We
have a natural cycle of waking, sleeping and then dreaming. As the mind settles
down into deep rest, the body has an opportunity to heal itself. This is the
natural tendency of the body. Scientists tell us that it is after 6-8 hours of
sleep that we reach this level of deep rest. It is also around this time that we
experience dreaming. Dreaming is a result of stress releasing from our nervous
system. This is why dreams are often a mixture of abstract scenes and sequences
containing familiar and unfamiliar people, places and experiences. The effects
of impressions on the nervous system are being naturally cleared out. However,
this cycle alone is not sufficient healing; the amount of incoming, accumulative
stress for the average person is greater than the amount of stress released at
night.
It normally takes 6-8 hours of sleep for the body to reach
its deepest state of rest. The level of rest produced by twenty minutes of
closed-eye Ascension is actually twice as deep as the deepest sleep at night.
Thus, the body has a greater opportunity to heal.
This process happens naturally, for it is the natural cycle
for our body and mind. The minds natural tendency is to experience greater
happiness. The body's natural tendency is to heal itself. This is Natural Law.
The Ascension Attitudes, wholly in alignment with nature, allow these functions
to gracefully occur. So, the time it takes to heal our body, releasing all the
stored stresses, is equivalent to the amount of time we give ourselves to
Ascend. We suggest at least three times a day, twenty minutes each time with
eyes closed for maximum benefits. Also, using the Ascension Attitudes any time
throughout the day with the eyes open prevents in-coming stress (not to mention
allowing us to fully bring all of the benefits of Ascending into our everyday
lives). The good news is that it does not take as long to 'release' all the
stress as it did to 'accumulate' it! Most of it is released without our even
knowing it.
Once our nervous systems become clear again, life can be
lived in a more fluid manner, both mentally and physically. Health and energy
are by-products of a clear nervous system. Life, evolving with the upward
currents of creation, returns to its natural state of perfect harmony, in
ever-increasing waves of peace, joy and happiness. Hence driving to and from
work becomes a time to relax and unwind. Standing in line presents itself as an
opportunity to center and become still. Any kind of situation can be transformed
from frustrating to fulfilling, from nerve-wracking to nourishing, from tense to
tranquil. The choice is yours.
