The Golden Swirl
From the cellular double helix of DNA to the whirling of galaxies, the ancient symbol of the spiral links to the very core of our existence. It represents our inward journey to self discovery and our outward striving to unite all that is. In Tibetan sacred imagery, swirl motifs are plentiful and can be found in stylized cloud images, flaming halos, and the conch-like spiral of Buddha's hair and navel.
